摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein there is a defect in which random access is at high speed when an area in the forward direction from the present reading position is accessed, however, access speed is very slow on structure of a FAT system when an area in the backward direction is accessed when the random access is performed using the FAT file system. SOLUTION: The FAT file system is a media format generally used for large capacity media such as a HDD/memory card. In use of the FAT file system, acceleration of file access is realized by accessing a single file using a plurality of pointers. In the case of performing file access, the high-speed access is realized by determining whether high-speed access is possible by using which file pointer to a target data position and performing the file access to a target data position.
