摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing a granular crystal capable of stably and highly efficiently crystallizing and obtaining the granular crystal of high crystallinity. <P>SOLUTION: This apparatus for producing the granular crystal B, by discharging and dropping melt 4 in a form of a granule into a pipe 2 arranged vertically from a nozzle part 6 of a crucible 1, cooling and solidifying the granular melt 8 in the course of falling, is equipped with a shielding pipe 3 made of a material whose melting temperature is higher than that of the pipe 2 and disposed to an area inside the pipe 2 where the melt 8 falls. Since adhesion of the granular melt 8 to the pipe 2 can be prevented by the shielding pipe 3 disposed inside the pipe 2, production of the granular crystal B can be continued without stopping the discharge of the melt 4 even when the falling direction of the granular melt 8 discharged from the nozzle part 6 of the crucible 1 is slanted and heading for the inner wall of the pipe 2.
