PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint, capable of preventing deformation at a pipe bonded position or around it by eliminating generation of a gap between a circular member and a pipe tip when a pipe is engaged with a pipe engagement cylinder part of the joint to be excessively pressed in and then returned to a prescribed position, so that stay of adhesive in the gap is prevented. SOLUTION: This joint 1 for connecting the pipe 2 is provided with a joint main body 12 having the pipe engagement cylinder part 11 and the circular member 3 to be engaged inside the pipe engagement cylinder part 11. On one end edge part of a cylinder part 31 of the circular member 3, elastic pieces 32 to be applied to an inner surface of the joint main body 12 are provided. As the pipe tip 21 to be connected is engaged into the pipe engagement cylinder part 11 in the joint main body 12, the circular member 3 is engaged, and the elastic pieces 32 on the circular member 3 are elastically applied to the inner surface of the joint main body 12.
