PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve feeding accuracy of recording paper in relation to a paper magazine for transporting and feeding recording paper to an image recording apparatus such as a printer. SOLUTION: The paper magazine to be loaded in the image recording device houses a roll of recording paper, and is provided with a transport mechanism to feed the recording paper to outside the paper magazine while nipping a distal end of the recording paper. The transport mechanism is composed of drive rollers 35 and 36 and a belt mechanism. The belt mechanism is composed of pairs of pulleys 49, 50, 53, and 54 which are provided with a predetermined distance therebetween, and flat belts 47 and 48 wound around the pulleys. The drive rollers 35 and 36 are respectively pressing the center of the flat belts 47 and 48 such that the center is bent. Since the driver rollers 35 and 36 are in contact with the recording paper such that the surfaces thereof press the paper, the recording paper can be fed without slipping.
