PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To well perform such maintenance as maintenance control and repair of an ink head. SOLUTION: A maintenance apparatus in an inkjet printer performs the maintenance of the ink head of the inkjet printer printing a medium with an ink delivered from an ink head unit while the ink head equipped with the ink head unit delivering a specified ink on the medium, and a light irradiating means for irradiating the ink delivered on the medium from the ink head unit with a light, are integrally moved on the medium along the first direction. This maintenance apparatus is provided with a maintenance means for performing the maintenance of the ink head freely movably arranged along the second direction different from the first direction on which the ink head and the light irradiating means are integrally moved on the medium.
