PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall hook which can be fitted to a wall surface without leaving a conspicuous mark and to which a heavy article can be hooked. SOLUTION: A hook body (30) for hooking an article to be hooked is fitted to a base (20) to be in contact with a wall surface. On the rear surface of the base, at least two thin needles (40) are fixed oriented obliquely downward at an angle of 20 to 45°at intervals in a width direction. The projecting part of the thin needles from the rear surface of the base has a maximum diameter of 0.3 to 1.0 mm and a length of 1 to 10mm. The whole or most of the projecting part from the rear surface of the base is inserted into the wall surface (50) to receive the load of the article to be hooked, the base and the hook body to transmit it to the wall surface.
