<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a free visual point picture streaming system capable of creating a free visual point picture in smooth visual point movement with high precision in real time. <P>SOLUTION: A video delivery server 1 compresses a picture (reference picture) V from one visual point, a depth map M for the reference picture V, and a projection transformation matrix B for the reference picture V and manages them as one group and delivers the information simultaneously while streaming. On a client 2 side, a free visual point picture is created by receiving the reference picture V delivered while streaming, the depth map M, and the projection transformation matrix B, and a region concealed by the foreground picture is complemented.
