PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser scanning microscope capable of automatically or almost automatically setting a range where effective spectroscopic data is acquired to a sample in the case of photometrically metering fluorescence from one or a plurality of fluorescent probes applied to the sample in arbitrary wavelength units and acquiring it as continuous data (λstack data).
SOLUTION: The laser scanning microscope is equipped with laser beam sources 7 to 9 generating laser beams having exciting wavelength corresponding to a plurality of fluorescent probes, a deflection part 2 scanning the generated laser beams on a sample surface, a spectroscopic part 15 acquiring the fluorescence from the sample surface in arbitrary wavelength width and spectroscopically splitting it, a spectroscopic data acquiring condition setting part 16 setting a condition when the spectroscopic part 15 acquires the spectroscopic data based on the known spectroscopic characteristics of a plurality of fluorescent probes applied to the sample, a spectroscopic control part 18 controlling the spectroscopic part 15 based on the set spectroscopic data acquiring condition, and a photoelectric conversion part 14 receiving the spectroscopically split fluorescence and converting it into an electrical signal.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
|
