PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic balance reducing a hysteresis error generated by a changed direction of a coil current. SOLUTION: A displacement of a position from a balanced position of a balance beam 12 for making electromagnetic fore F and a load W act thereon is detected by a displacement detector 2, a numeral data of the A/D-converted displacement of the position is PID-computation-processed, a computed value therein is output to an A/D-converter 33, the computed value is converted into a weight value to be displayed on a display 34, and the numeral data for bringing the coil current I into the maximum value the minimum value is output to the A/D-converter 33 for a fixed period, when a change rate in the displacement of the position exceeds a comparison value 1, to balance the electromagnetic force F and the load W of the weighed object M.
