PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional measuring instrument capable of measuring a three-dimensional position without using a reflecting prism, and dispensing with collimation of each measuring point by an operator. SOLUTION: This three-dimensional measuring instrument 110 is equipped with a collimation camera optical system 47 and a wide-angle camera optical system 89 for imaging a measuring object captured by a telescope 46, a touch panel display 64 for displaying the measuring object imaged by both camera optical systems, a touch pen 68 for designating a plurality of measuring points on the touch panel display, a storage means 59 for storing the coordinate of each measuring point on the touch panel display, and an automatic collimation device 69 for collimating successively all the measuring points whose coordinates are stored in the storage means.
