PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for limiting the attenuation amount of a gain revised at zero cross so as to prevent the gain of an amplifier from being decreased too much. SOLUTION: A comparison output means 310 compares a signal level of a digitally converted input signal with a prescribed reference level and outputs its comparison result. In a normal state, an attack detection output means 340 outputs a signal, outputted from the comparison output means 310 as an attack detection output signal; whereas when the comparison result signal has reached a prescribed maximum number of steps at which the gain can be revised during a zero-cross period of the input signal, mask signals outputted from mask signal output means 320, 330 mask signals by the maximum number of steps or larger, and the attack detection output means 340 outputs the masked output signals from the comparison output means 310 as attach detection output signals.
