PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a delay resulting from an echo canceller until it learns an optimum operating parameter. SOLUTION: A learning value storage section 19 stores an operating parameter optimized by an echo canceller means 12 by using a notice destination telephone number or the like for particularizing a speech path for a key, and since the control of the echo canceller means 12 is started by using an operating parameter stored at new start of a speech as initial value, the possibility of degraded speech quality is precluded for a learning period until the optimum operating parameter is obtained.
