PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine cooling device allowing early warm-up of an engine at the time of cold start with a simple construction at a low cost. SOLUTION: The engine cooling device circulates cooling water in a water jacket formed inside the engine to cool an engine body. A water outlet member attached to a cooling water discharge side of the water jacket is formed therein with a first cooling water path connected to a cooling water system equipped with a heat exchange part and with a cooling water path for temperature sensing divided from the first cooling water path and allowing the cooling water flow therethrough at least at the time of cold start during operation of the engine. A first thermostat is arranged having a temperature sensing part disposed in the cooling water path for temperature sensing for sensing temperature of the cooling water flowing in the cooling water path and a valve body disposed in the first cooling water path and driven for opening and closing with changes of the temperature sensed by the temperature sensing part.
