PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adjust an idle opening of a throttle body stored inside a cleaner case by operation outside the cleaner case without requiring a dedicated member for mounting an idle adjustment screw, in an intake device for a vehicle engine provided with an air cleaner which stores a cleaner element for filtering air flowing from a non-purifying chamber to a purifying chamber and with the throttle body which controls amount of air supplied from the purifying chamber to a cylinder head, inside the cleaner case inside of which is partitioned into the non-purifying chamber and the purifying chamber. SOLUTION: The throttle body 48 is stored inside the cleaner case 50, and the idle adjustment screw 119 for adjusting the idle opening of a throttle valve 61 provided in the throttle body 48 is rotatably mounted on a side wall of the cleaner case 50 so as to enable rotating operation outside the cleaner case 50.
