PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cloth venetian blind which is never wrinkled even if blown by wind or inclined to one side, and can maintain a beautiful appearance and the life time long. SOLUTION: This cloth venetian blind comprises a winding cylinder 10 set transversely at an upper end; a plurality of fabric leaf pieces 30 transversely set under it at equal intervals in parallel, each cloth leaf piece 30 having holes in proper positions of two long sides; and at least two fixing ropes 40, the upper ends of which are fixed to the winding cylinder 10. The ropes are passed vertically through the holes of the two long sides of each fabric leaf piece 30, and extended downward, and the bottom ends thereof are connected to one lower support. Rope rings are provided just under the long sides of each leaf piece to which each fixing rope 40 corresponds, and a support rod 50 is transversely passed through each rope ring to support the two long sides of each leaf piece 30. Two short sides 32 of each leaf piece 30 have pockets having inward openings parallel to the long sides at the two lower angles, and both ends of each support rod 50 are inserted thereto.
