PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the structure of a vibration control device capable of securing daylighting property, preventing landscape from the inside of a building from being impaired, facilitating the installation of a door, and connecting with the intermediate parts of columns and beams receiving small stress loads. SOLUTION: This vibration control device A comprises an energy absorbing element 3, a pair of first mounting elements 1A and 1B extending to both sides of the energy absorbing element 3 and is provided with a pair of first mounting elements 1A and 1B pin-connected, at the support points 11A, 11B to the structure B to form the object of vibration control at its end a pair of second mounting elements 2A, 2B to be pin-connected at respective intermediate positions of the first mounting elements 1A, 1B at the other end.
