PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core member which is for use in a flash panel such as a door having a daylighting section, wherein the core member is formed of common component parts, to thereby facilitate parts management. SOLUTION: The core member is formed of two members 2, 4 having bearing portions 5, 6, respectively, for bearing a translucent member forming the daylighting section. One of the members 2 has engaging projections 1, and the other member 4 has a plurality of types of engaging recesses 3a, 3b, 3c which are different in depth from each other.
