PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition for coating metal can for food and beverage, and provide a coating film having excellent processability, adhesiveness, retort resistance, and flavored properties. SOLUTION: The coating composition comprises two kinds of polyester resins (A) and (B), in which the polyester resins (A) is composed of 80-100 mol% aromatic dicarboxylic acid component as the dicarboxylic acid component and 40-90 mol% 2-methyl-1,3-propanediol and 10-60 mol% 1,2-propanediol as the glycol component and has≥0.45 of limiting viscosity and≥50°C of glass transition temperature, and the polyester resins (B) is composed of 60-100 mol% aromatic dicarboxylic acid component as the dicarboxylic acid component and 50-100 mol% aliphatic glycol having a side chain as the glycol component and has≥0.60 of limiting viscosity number and less than 20°C of glass transition temperature, and the mixed ratio of the polyester resins (A) to (B) by mass may be (A)/(B)=90-50/10-50.
