PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft, weed-preventing sheet having a high weed-preventing effect, and having a good installing property. SOLUTION: This soft, weed-preventing sheet is provided by consisting of a non-woven fabric containing a conjugated fiber formed with a high melting point component and a low melting point component, and having 100-300 g/m<SP>2</SP>basis weight, and the relationship of the basis weight of the non-woven fabric with its bending resistance satisfies formula: 0.010≤(Y/X<SP>2</SP>)≤0.030 [wherein, Y is bending resistance (mgf); and X is basis weight (g/m<SP>2</SP>)].
