THERMOSTAT

A thermostat in which the end surface of a defrost lever is formed with a circular hole which is larger than the defrost pin stem but smaller than the stepped section of the defrost pin to define a clearance between the defrost pin stem and the defrost lever. Since it becomes difficult for the friction force between the defrost pin and a through-hole in a cam to act on the defrost lever engageable with the defrost pin, this thermostat has a stabilized defrost return temperature with little temperature variation.
