Self-righting sailing trimaran

摘要

The boat has a rigging with a boom having free edge equipped with a jettisoning system. Multiple sensors and an embedded computer allow detection of a preset resting angle and/or variation of acceleration of movement of the boat for activating the jettisoning system. Opening/closing controls of rear traps of side floats and inflating/deflating controls of flexible compartments of the floats are situated inside a central hull. An independent claim is also included for a method of auto-straightening a trimaran.
