A one-way rotary damper D includes a cylindrical housing comprising a case 11 and a cap 21, a viscous fluid 31 contained in the housing 11, 21, a rotor 41 rotatably disposed in the housing 11, 21, and a valve body 51. The rotor 41 has a centre part 42 for forming a rotational axis, and a control wall 45 extending radially outwardly from the centre part 42 for dividing an inside of the housing 11, 21 into two chambers A, B. The control wall 45 has a distribution path 46. The valve body 51 has a holding part 52 for holding the centre part 42, and a free edge part 53 extending from one side of the holding part 52 for opening and closing the distribution path 46. A seal member 61 prevents the viscous fluid 31 from leaking between the housing 11, 21 and the rotor 41. |
