A process for producing plastic slats (2) comprises extruding a plastic, cutting the plastic to length to form blanks, transporting the blanks to an injection moulding unit (36), and placing a blank end section (37) in the mould. A plastic end cap (4) is then injection moulded onto the blank, afterwhich the slats are moved to a store. The arrangement used to produce the slats includes an extruder, a moulding unit, a transport unit for the blanks, and a further transport unit for taking the slats to the store. |
