PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a smooth calibration image with invisible artifact, by obtaining a characteristics curve of each sensor from a curve approximated to the correlation between corresponding data of a reference image and an original image and calibrating the original image data using the characteristics curve. SOLUTION: From an image corresponding to an original image obtained from raw data collected by array sensor scanning, a reference image smoother than the image is formed by an image forming part 2. Correlation is taken from data corresponding between the reference image obtained by the image forming part 2 and the original image, a curve approximated to the correlation is obtained by an operation part 3 to obtain each characteristics curve of each sensor. Calibration of the original image is carried out by a calibration processing part 4 using the characteristics curve. Thus, a smooth calibration image with invisible artifact can be obtained without taking data for sensor calibration every time picking up an original image. |
