Volumetric imaging in a radiation therapy device

A radiation therapy unit volumetric imaging procedure rotates (4) a patient on a couch (3) steadily about an axis through the radiation therapy unit isocentre (5) at an angle to the beam whilst taking and storing X ray images (1, 2) for computer (6) generation of a volumetric image dataset. Independent claims are included for computer programs implementing the procedure.
