Building components (1, 3), especially panels joined to further panel (3, 1) have profile edge (2, 4) corrsponding at least in crosss-section to profile edge (2, 4) of panels (1, 3), where profile edges (2, 4) in the joined state of components (1, 3) have opposite snugly engaging surfaces. A hardenable filler composition is applied to profile edges (2, 4) at least in cross-section. Independent claims are included for: (1) a coating applied to components (1, 3) as described above; (2) method for preparation of components (1, 3) as described above.
