A mobile telecommunications network may be provided with mobile terminals including motion sensors 21 and pressure sensors 23. Movement and/or pressure applied to a mobile terminal can be sensed by these sensors 21,23 and converted into an electrical signal. This electrical signal is encoded and transmitted to the network core. The network core generates a message to a recipient mobile terminal having a movement enabler 25 and/or pressure enabler 26. When the message is received by the receiving mobile terminal, the movement and/or pressure enabler generate an approximation of the touch input generated at the sending mobile terminal. The users of mobile terminals are therefore able to communicate with each other by the sense of touch. |
