The process uses cold plasma reactors mounted in parallel or in series according to the volumes of gas to be treated. Each reactor is made up of concentric or adjacent electrodes capable of creating an intense electrical field. The outer electrodes can be in a spiral, half-square or other shape, plain or perforated, assembled to form rings with non-uniform discharge intervals. The inner electrodes can be smooth or in particular shapes with comb-shaped protuberances that are tapered to produce an intense electrical field for a relatively low voltage. The comb teeth can be distributed round the whole perimeter of the central electrodes. |
