A mounting flange (4) is provided for connecting the operating device to the machine (1), which is provided with a machine flange (2). A number of electrical switches (7,8) are embedded in the mounting flange in a geometric pattern. Each switch is in a circuit connected to a sub-controller. Closing parts are arranged in the machine flange in an arrangement that characterizes the machine, so as to operate the switches at the respective points on the geometric pattern when the flanges are coupled. |
