EMULSION COMPOSITION FOR SILICONE RUBBER, PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING SILICONE RUBBER

An emulsion composition for silicone rubbers which comprises (A) 100 parts by weight of a diorganopolysiloxane having at least two silicon- bonded alkenyl groups per molecule, (E) 0 to 60 parts by weight of a reinforcing silica filler, (B) 10 to 250 parts by weight of water containing smectite clay, (C) 0.1 to 15 parts by weight of an emulsifying agent, and (D) a crosslinking agent (e.g., organohydrogenpolysiloxane) contained in an amount sufficient to crosslink the ingredient (A) and a catalyst (e.g., platinum catalyst); a process for producing an emulsion composition for silicone rubbers, which comprises mixing a mixture of the ingredient (A) and the ingredient (E) with other ingredients in a high- speed agitation mixer; and a process for producing a silicone rubber which comprises either heating the emulsion composition for silicone rubbers to form a silicone rubber-like substance in a wet state and then dehydrating the silicone rubber-like wet substance or dehydrating the emulsion composition for silicone rubbers with heating.
