The mechanism has a hydraulic pump (9) with a manual drive (11), and an oil distributor (8) controlled by two hydraulic jack ends (6, 7). A projecting stop (5) exerts a pressure on end stops (6S, 7S) during movement of a hydraulic jack (2) to activate opening or closing of the ends that controls the distributor to reverse its direction of intake and discharge of oil. A connecting rod (3) drives a driving sprocket (4). The projecting stop and connecting rod are fixed on the hydraulic jack.
