The system has a ramp (2) rotatably tilting around an axle connected to a frame work and a ramp (3) sliding relative to the unit (2). The ramp (2) has an optical sensor (38) to acquire positions of reflecting units (35, 35`) connected to railway platforms (4, 4`) and to allow its correct angular position. The ramp (3) has an electro-mechanical sensor (32) to sense the edge of platforms such that it is deployed till the platforms.
