The trousers are made from a lightweight fabric covering the front and back of the pelvis and upper thighs (11, 21), with an abrasion resistant stretch material in the front (10) extending over zones (12, 13) covering the lower part of the thighs to below the knees. The knee zones can be pre-shaped, and they have two horizontal darts (16, 17) at the front and one at the back with a vent. At least one thigh has a pocket with a rear-facing aerated liner (62), while another pocket on the front of the leg can be made to hold a small brush.
