The structure has a trunk panel (10) including two independent front and rear panels (11, 16). Two tie rod sets (25) simultaneously tilt the panels (11, 16) towards rear of a vehicle between a lower closing position in which the panels (11, 16) are adjacent and an upper opening position for passing and arranging a roof. The panels (11, 16) partly overlap in the opening position. An independent claim is also included for a convertible two door sedan type motor vehicle including a trunk structure.
