PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience of a recipient by determining a place of reception on the basis of the schedule of activities of the recipient and determining an optimal place of reception by discriminating a sender, without depending on the installation place of a facsimile machine which is made to correspond to a facsimile number dedicated to the recipient, in a facsimile reception system. SOLUTION: When a facsimile addressed to a USR 401 is received, an FSP server 200 specifies a transmission source by a FAX transmission source address discrimination section 201, refers to the schedule of activities of the USR by activity schedule table reference section 202, and decides an output destination based on the transmission source and the schedule of activities by a designated output destination selection section 203, and outputs received facsimile information to the output destination.
