PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decoding apparatus in which an error-correcting capability is improved even if it is not a decoding apparatus which uses a scheme of circulating external information at all the time, like a turbo decoding apparatus by providing a turbo encoding apparatus and the turbo decoding apparatus taking into account that interleave processing is interposed in an error-correcting encoding process. SOLUTION: A turbo decoding apparatus decodes data resulting from turbo encoding including interleave processing in an encoding process for data resulting from performing error-detecting encoding processing on a plurality of data blocks. The turbo decoding apparatus comprises: an error detecting section for performing error detection on each of the data blocks in a non-interleave area; and a correction section for correcting, in the non-interleave area, a likelihood corresponding to a data block wherein no error is detected by the error detecting section, so as to improve reliability.
