PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal which can realize a high density of connection, realize reliable soldering, and can avoid solder coming-off, and also an electronic device using the terminal. SOLUTION: The terminal is made of a solderable identical metal material. The terminal has a pair of first and second plate-shaped soldering parts 1a, 1b made of the same solderable metal material and provided to be spaced from each other and also has a rod-shaped column part 1c disposed at the centers of the first and second soldering parts 1a, 1b and connecting the first and second soldering parts 1a, 1b. The terminal has a generally H shape. The occupation area of the terminal 1 is smaller than that of the prior art and therefore a high density of connection structure can be obtained. The column part 1c can be deflected substantially equally over its full periphery, and can affect the solder equally. The column part 1c can remove spring back as in the prior art, make constant an interval between the first and second soldering parts 1a, 1b, and avoid solder coming-off. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
