PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric heater having an excellent mounting property and capable of reducing flow resistance of a fluid to be heated. SOLUTION: This electric heater 1 includes: a heating element 2; a pair of stacked frames 7 to be stacked in the stacking direction H of the heating element 2; and a pair of pressing frames 6 for pressingly keeping the stacked state of the heating element 2 through the respective stacked frames 7. The heating element 2 is composed by stacking holders 3 each having a heater element embedded therein, electrode plates 4 for supplying power to the heater elements, and fin members 5 each having radiation fins 52. The fin member 5 is composed by installing the radiation fins 52 so as to pass the fluid G to be heated toward a fluid passing direction D.
