PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in conventional methods, wherein since a matter sampling apparatus uses electrical equipment, in order to sample and investigate gas or the like in soils inside a fire-ban area of an oil service station, it is necessary to isolate the apparatus from the fire-ban area by installing a temporary fire protection wall therearound or surrounding the apparatus by a fire-proofed sheet in a simple manner, and the installation of the temporary fire protection wall or the simple fire-proofed sheet has been troublesome and required time. SOLUTION: The apparatus for sampling a matter in the soils of the oil service station comprises a sampling tube whose top is inserted into a sampling hole for sampling the matter in the soils of the oil service station; a flexible collection bag which is airtightly connected to the base section of the sampling tube; a decompression box into which the collection bag is inserted; and an non-electric decompression pump which is in communication with the decompression box.
