摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flying body tracking method and a device therefor capable of continuously tracking a flying body such as a missile flying toward the own airplane by detecting the flying body at an early stage. SOLUTION: The flying body such as the missile flying toward the own airplane is detected at an early stage by a passive method by installing an ultraviolet sensor and sensing the ultraviolet rays emitted from the plume of the flying body. After taking an infrared image of the flying body detected at an early stage and extracting a tail part of the flying body, laser beam light is irradiated from the tail part to the advancing direction of the flying body, and thereby a seeker mounting position of the flying body is captured, and tracking of the flying body by the laser beam light is continued while having it as an aiming point.
