PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a louver device capable of facilitating the manufacture and handling. SOLUTION: The louver device is so constituted that louver board members 1 consisting of a porous ceramic are consecutively provided at predetermined intervals. Each louver board member of the louver device is so constituted that it is formed of a porous ceramic having the maximum percentage of water retention not more than about 25% and that a water storage section 2 tentatively storing water is recessed in the outside surface until it is infiltrated inside thereof.
