PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly of a pneumatic tire and a rim, preventing coming off of the rim even if air pressure is extremely lowered, without impairing a rim assembling property. SOLUTION: When a rim is assembled by engaging a projecting locking portion 4b formed inside in a tire axial direction of a rim flange 4a, and a recessed portion 3a formed on an outer wall of a bead portion 3 of the pneumatic tire 2, an inner end 4c of the locking portion 4b is positioned outside in a tire radial direction of a bead core 5 and within a width in the tire axial direction.
