PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive film which can obtain a flexible metal-clad laminate with a dimensional change suppressed when it is manufactured by a lamination method, the flexible metal-clad laminate which is obtained by laminating metal foil on it, and its production method. SOLUTION: In the adhesive film, an adhesive layer containing a thermoplastic polyimide is formed on at least one side of a polyimide film. The modulus of elasticity in MD of the adhesive film is below 5 GPa and satisfies the relationship: 2.00>(modulus of elasticity in MD)/(modulus of elasticity in TD)>1.10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
