PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip discharge mechanism of a chip carrying type conveyer for separating cutting oil containing chips generated in metal cutting machining such as cutting and grinding into chips and cutting oil. SOLUTION: In this chip discharge mechanism of chip carrying type conveyer where a conveyer is reversed on the conveyer tail part side and on the chip carry-out part side to circulate around and run, the chip carry-out part is provided with a space H from the conveyer, and a drip plate is disposed on the right upper side above the horizontal and in the state of projecting from the tip of a driving sprocket for a length L.
