A method for capturing a still image in a mobile terminal comprises setting at least one image capture condition and capturing a sequence of still images according to the at least one image capture condition. The at least one image capture condition is varied for each of a sequence of captured still images. The method may further comprise displaying at least one of the sequence of captured still images. The method may further comprise receiving a user selection to select at least one displayed captured still image. The method may further comprise storing the at least one displayed captured still image selected by a user.
