<p>The object of the present invention is to provide an external speaker for mobile phones, intended to prevent malfunction of a mobile phone caused by a leakage magnetic field. The external speaker includes a tapered cylindrical casing (11). A connector seating hole (27) is provided on an upper surface of the casing, and voice outlets (12) are provided on a sidewall of the casing to emit sound output from the speaker unit. A connector (13) is seated in the connector seating hole of the casing, and detachably connected to a mobile phone mechanically and electrically. A speaker unit is provided in the casing, and electrically connected to a voice output terminal of the mobile phone through the connector, thus outputting voice, while calling. A shielding plate (30, 32) is provided in the casing to be positioned above and/or under the speaker unit.</p> |
