<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an operator of an endoscope to operate a treatment instrument in an endoscopic treatment system. <P>SOLUTION: The treatment instrument 2 is inserted into a treatment instrument channel 5 of the endoscope 1 to be used in the endoscopic treatment system. A first driving means 35 is disposed inside the endoscope 1. A reel 30 for taking up a treatment instrument insertion part 21 of the treatment instrument 2 is rotatably mounted at the proximal end of the endoscope 1, and a roller 45 for clasping the treatment instrument insertion part 21 together with the reel 30 is also disposed at the proximal end.
