<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushless motor which can be controlled continuously even if abnormality occurs in a means for detecting the position of a rotor. <P>SOLUTION: In case that abnormality occurs in any one of rotor position detecting means in a brushless motor, an armature coil is given, until the next position signal change, a current value which has led, by a phase capable of reducing reverse torque, the phase at the point of time of the position signal change of a normal sensor, in a phase where the change of the position signal of an abnormal sensor should occur, from the timing of the change of the position signal of residual two normal rotor position detecting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
