<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a putter golf club head comprising a tungsten alloy and a manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A step to mix 60-90 wt% of tungsten, 10-40 wt% of nickel, and less than 1 wt% of inevitable impurity, a step to dry the mixture at a temperature lower than 100°C, a step to remove the impurity by a screen, a step to forge the mixture at 2-5 ton/cm<SP>3</SP>, a step to temporarily sinter the forged mixture at 800-1,000°C in an air or inert gas atmosphere in a heat treating furnace, a step to re-sinter the mixture at 1,400-1,500°C in an air or inert gas atmosphere in a heat treating furnace, a step to cut the sintered alloy using a milling machine to flatten all the faces of the sintered alloy, a step to make the alloy with all flatten faces into a prescribed shape by electric discharge machining using electrodes, a step to grind the electric discharge machined sintered alloy by diamond wheels, and a step to polish the ground sintered alloy using diamond powder, are performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
