<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when high rate data are received by a general protocol stack, it is impossible to follow up performance by an inexpensive processor, and it is necessary to provide any expensive processor. <P>SOLUTION: A network communication controller is provided with a data judging part, a data transmitting part and a check sum recalculating part. When data are received by the network communication controller, whether or not the data are high rate data to be received is judged by the data judging part, and when the judgement result is positive, application data whose various headers are removed are transferred to a memory region. When the data are transmitted by a TCP, the application data of the received data are replaced with predetermined dummy data, and the check sum of the TCP header is recalculated by a check sum recalculating part. Afterwards, only the various headers are transferred to a network communication driver. In the network communication driver, the received header is added with dummy data, and transferred to the TCP/IP stack of an OS. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
